The north-east facing slopes of Tea Tree provide the perfect setting for production of great pinot noir. Long, mild summer days combined with rich dermasol soils ensure compact bunches and intensity of flavour. Our Estate range comes exclusively from our home block, and comprises 9 clones to create a beautifully complex, generous wine.
The 2020 Estate Pinot Noir presents an elegant structure showcasing the cooler 2020 season. With vibrant pale ruby hues and a bouquet of lifted strawberry, liquorice and dried grass, the palate shows fleshy bright cherry, spice and and silky oak tannins. Balanced acid and a lingering finish make this a standout wine from an exceptional vintage. Vinification: Machine crushed, fermented in open vats. Aged for 10 months in 500l french oak puncheons (30% new).
