Description
The north-east facing slopes of Tea Tree provide the perfect setting for production of great pinot noir. Long, mild summer days combined with rich dermasol soils ensure compact bunches and intensity of flavour. Our 2018 “Estate” pinot comes exclusively from our home block, and comprises 9 clones to create a beautifully complex, generous wine.
Fermented in open vats, and aged for 10 months in 30% new oak puncheons, the exhibits bright cherry, liquorice, spice, and hints of vanilla. It may be enjoyed now, or will also reward careful cellaring.
The wine will match perfectly with poultry and game dishes.
